MCP1642 High Current Boost Converter Demonstration Board
The Microchip MCP1642 High Current Boost Evaluation Board demonstrates the capabilities of MCP1642B and MCP1642D Boost Converters. These regulators are designed to provide a simple power management option for one-cell, two-cell or three-cell alkaline, NiCd, NiMH, one-cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer battery-based applications.
The MCP1642B demonstrates an adjustable output voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V that is set by a resistor divider. This variant features true output disconnect while in shutdown (EN=GND).
The MCP1642D demonstrated is a fixed output version with an output of 3.3V. The MCP1642D connects input to output bypass while in shutdown (EN=GND).
