This cable sleeve is a heat-resistant tubular sleeving MADE from polytetrafluoroethylene for protecting and insulating small-diameter wiring in demanding industrial environments. It is intended for use where thermal endurance and electrical insulation are required across a wide temperature span, and it is supplied in a natural colour for unobtrusive installation.
The sleeving accommodates internal diameters from 2.31mm to 2.57mm to suit narrow cable cores.
It passes corrosion tests at 0°C for 16 hours with no corrosion and meets fungus-resistance requirements, indicating good chemical and biological stability.
Besides the dielectric strength and high volume resistivity, it has a dielectric constant of 2.1, which aids predictable electrical performance.
It is available in multiple put-ups, including 500 ft and 100 ft lengths, with specified limits on piece counts per roll for manageable handling.
It is lead-free but is not halogen-free.
