Balluff BIP Series Inductive Positioning Sensors

Balluff BIP series inductive positioning sensors detect the position of encoders within the measuring range and outputs this position as IO-Link process data. LEDs indicate values within or outside of the measuring range.

This analogue positioning system must not be used in applications in which the safety of persons depends on the function of the system (not a safety component in accordance with the EU Machinery Directive). Read this manual carefully before commissioning.

Block Style

Flush mounting, embeddable sensors with IP67 protection and an operating temperature range of -25 to +75°C. All have short circuit and reverse polarity protection and provide an LED indication of the on/off status.
