These JAE MX44 Retainer Front Caps set the contacts and wire in position and are inserted from the wire side. The Retainer also protects the connectors lock area from unintentional release.

The MX44 rubber seals improve vibration absorption thus giving improved vibration resistance between the contacts and housing. Each contact in the MX44 connector is individually waterproof, thus making them suitable for use in harsh environments as found in engine areas.
