These blank cable marker sleeves from RS PRO are for labelling electrical wires before they are put to use. You can mark multiple labels with a laser printer and then apply them to cables with a heat gun.
The sleeves are manufactured from high-quality, flame retardant polyolefin meaning they won't easily catch alight in the event of an electrical fault. You can conveniently tear off the units as you need them because they're supplied pre-cut with a dotted line.
Heat shrink sleeves such as these stand up well to abrasion and have good chemical resistance, making them suitable to use in factories and workshops. They meet UL 224 (Underwriter Laboratories) standards for safety extruding insulating tubing and are therefore safe to use in the insulation of electrical wiring.
