The RS PRO miniature locking plug is ideal for touch-proof cable connection applications where space is limited. Encased in nickel, this 4-pin female connector mates with a threaded chassis, making it quick to connect and disconnect on site. Solder-type termination on the connector achieves tight, solder-free connections that are highly resistant to wear, vibration and temperature changes.
Supporting a maximum wire size of 6 mm, the straight connector is shielded to ensure effective grounding and to prevent 'noise' when used with a shielded cable. The tin plating on the brass contacts ensures the connection is well-protected against corrosion and wear. Part of the RS PRO range, this component is strictly tested for quality and compliance with British and EU electrostatic discharge standards.
