Crimpless Connectors For Plastic Optical Fibre
Crimpless Simplex single mode plug connectors for use in any application in which plastic optical fibre is used including industrial control and voltage isolation, automotive networks, proprietary system interconnects, gaming equipment, medical equipment, telecommunications and datacommunications. These crimpless Simplex single mode plug connectors are made from ULTEM® plastic, have a snap-together design that eliminates the need for crimping and can be installed on the cable ends using standard wire cutters and strippers. All these crimpless fibre optic connectors have a 50 N connector to cable tensile force.
Stock numbers 255-8292 and 393-062 are snap-in non latching crimpless connectors, two of these can be snapped together enabling them to be used with a duplex connector.
Stock numbers 255-8309 and 393-056 are latching crimpless connectors.
