Twin Blocks with Indirect Clamping

The use of Twin-Block terminals is recommended to connect flexible copper cables from 10 to 120 sq.mm, ideal for applications in channels or conduits due to their compact size and ease of installation.

These Twin Block connectors guarantee a high degree of mechanical resistance and dielectric strength, and protection to IP 20 as required by CEI 64-8 part 5.

The particular structure and the clamping system allows you to make connections with a large contact area, without damage to the main conductor strands.

Twin-Blocks consist of:
Terminal screws in brass and steel with nickel plating and galvanizing treatmentsto protect against corrosion.and also provides increased protection in ammonia environments. The insulating body is made of self-extinguishing polycarbonate according to UL 94-V0, with a high degree of isolation. Clips to close and secure the connector are easy to operate and do not require the use of tools.

Multiple connections can be made in a single Twin Block if the total number of strands and area does not exceed the maximum permitted for a single conductor. The obvious advantage is the reduction of the number of blocks required and the corresponding ease and speed of installation.
