This vertical-mounting float switch from RS PRO is handy when you need to monitor the level of liquid in a tank. You can also use it to turn a circuit on or off when it reaches a preset level. You can reverse the switch action by removing, inverting and then refitting the float.

It's made from polyphenylene sulphide, which is resistant to aggressive chemicals and can has a high melting point, meaning this switch can withstand temperatures up to +120°C. It offers a highly effective seal thanks to the nitrile rubber gasket.
