VEMT3700 Series Phototransistors
The VEMT3700 series, from Vishay Semiconductor, are silicon NPN phototransistors. They are in standard surface mount (SMD) PLCC-2 packages and come with or without daylight filter. This is where a black lens blocks out ambient visible light. Without the daylight filter the phototransistor is sensitive to visible and near IR radiation.
Suitable applications for the VEMT3700 series include; photo interrupters, miniature switches, counters, encoders and position sensors.
